Another good Switch week. First up you have a double helping of Resi. Resident Evil Revalations releases this week alongside it’s sequel. The Revelations series is a spinoff of the main franchise and pointed Resi back at it’s survival horror routes. The first was originally for the 3ds and has the familiar faces of Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield featured prominently. Then the second takes an episodic approach with other characters such as Barry Burton and Claire Redfield.

Both had a solid critical reception with the 3DS game rocking an 82 and the sequel with a 75 on Metacritic.

Now the big one! Xenoblade chronicles returns this week with Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The latest in the popular RPG series and the first major RPG on the new console/handheld. Get ready to jump on the backs of the colossal Titans and explore the civilisations up there. You play as Rex and Pyra, a mysterious being known as a Blade. Together they search for the paradise of Elysium.

Plus for all of you purists you can actually grab use a Japanese language option made available as free launch day DLC!

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
