Humble Bundle have so far raised nearly $900,000 for disaster relief charities in their week-long ‘care package’ bundle.

An increasing number of natural disasters in 2017 has inspired Humble Bundle to launch a ‘care package’ bundle with 100% of the profits going to five different charities: Direct Relief, American Red Cross, GlobalGiving, Save The Children and Doctors Without Borders.

They said:

In the wake of multiple large-scale natural disasters and the increasing effects of climate change, we humbly recognise our responsibility to the global community.

“Alongside developers and creators, we are bundling a care package of much-needed funds for emergency relief.”

Any players who choose to buy the bundle will get a collection of 27 games worth a total of $385 for $30 (which works out to about £22.78)

The bundle includes many highly-praised and desirable games, including: Starbound, Darkest Dungeon and Stardew Valley. Alongside those titles are classics such as Psychonauts, Magicka and Her Story.

The unique selling strategy of Humble Bundle means that players will get the whole collection for $30, but can donate more if they want.

The Humble Care Package Bundle deal will end on Tuesday 21st October.

Mostly into casual games, but will happily get extremely salty in competitive games. Big fan/supporter of indie games.
