Project Hospital announced

Project Hospital announced – Cure your nostalgia!

For those gamers who spent their youth seeking cures for Bloaty Head and Invisibility, the time has come to re-open your medical practice.

Recently announced by Oxymoron Games, the upcoming Project Hospital gives players control over the design, management and medical treatment for your own hospital!

Sensing a Theme here…

The game plays out from a similar isometric viewpoint to the classic Theme Hospital, where you arrange rooms, staff and facilities to maximise efficiency.

However, PH appears more like real-life than its inspiration, from managing contracts with insurance companies to performing examinations and lab tests in order to “solve diagnostic puzzles”.

No more sending your patients straight to that one doctor who you could trust not to kill them off!

Play it your way

The game also allows you to focus on one element – either Building, Managing Staff, or Diagnosing Cases – and the game’s website indicates that you can:

Design your very own hospital, tweak every detail or use one of the predefined models and just jump to the doctor’s duty.

Is it the most fun for you to keep your staff and patients happy? Do you aim to cure as many people as possible or solve the most complicated cases?

Or do you maybe want to become the best manager and make the biggest profit? Our game will let you choose your priorities!

Obviously the main thrill comes from the hospital design – placing pot plants and radiators in every corridor for hours on end…

But I suppose some players might just want to get stuck into the new diagnostic puzzles and medical side of hospitals (frikkin’ weirdos).

Sneaky peeky

The only downside that I can see? Only the PC Master Race can be trusted with such an important task.

The game is coming to Steam in 2018, with no mention of other platforms at this stage.

Plays loads of terrible games. Makes websites and videos in my free time. Often spotted hanging around on street corners (capturing virtual locations).
