The Evil Within 2 releases on Friday for all you survival horror fans. The latest title from notable game maker Shinji Mikami comes in time for Halloween.

You are dropped into the shoes of the distraught Detective Sebastian Castellanos who must again brave the world of Stem to rescue his daughter. If that sounds like your cup of tea then check out this trailer.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War drops this week hoping to follow up on the success of the first. The mixture of Arkham style combat, Asssassin’s-esque traversal and a rather genius enemy generating mechanism called the Nemesis system made the original a sleeper hit. This sequel is trying to prove that bigger is better, and with a Metacritic score of 86 it appears others agree.

Although it would be better off loot box free Warner Bros, I mean it is rather unsettling that they are starting to appear in single player game now.

Below is over an hour of the game in action taken from the New York Comic Con.

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
