Play Expo Manchester is next weekend, tickets are on sale now

The sixth annual Play Expo Manchester event is next weekend (14-15th of October), we have some details of the line up ahead of the event.

We are going to be covering Play Expo over the next couple of weeks as Last Life Club will be in attendance, the two-time award nominated show will be written up within an inch of it’s life (and maybe some video content, we will see). Promising something for everyone with exhibits, markets, presentations, arcades and video game mayhem, it looks to be yet another unmissable event from the Play Expo gang.

So what is happening next weekend then? Let’s get in to this:

  • Golden Eye 64 20th Anniversary Panel – Features 5 of the original 9 core team members from the development of the Rare classic to talk about the creation of the game. Paul Drury and Martyn Carroll of Retro Gamer magazine will be hosting a Q&A with the team and an opportunity to play some multiplayer deathmatch against the creators, with prizes.

  • Spectrum Sunday Feature + Panel – You are invited to preview 40 minutes of the new Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict film with a Q&A with the stars afterwards including director Andy Remic and the stars of the film Andrew Hewson, Jon Hare, Steve Turner, Rich Stevenson, Simon Butler, Jim Bagley, Mark R. Jones, Mev Dinc and others pending confirmation!

  • Psygnosis Panel – A Q&A with former members of Psygnosis (which became SCE Liverpool). Psygnosis were the creators of many classic games such as Lemmings, Shadow of the Beasts, the massive Wipeout franchise, G-Police and Colony Wars. A number of former employees will be joining the panel – confirmed so far are Mike Clarke, Martin Linklater, Chris Graham and Mike Kaiser with more to be added.

Sack, back and crack of the Last Life Club team. If you're reading a post by me about Capcom assume it is all biased, fraudulent lies.
