The latest Uncharted: The Lost Legacy video picks up in the middle of a large open world-ish area with Chloe having a little look at some conveniently placed fortresses.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy releases very soon on the 23rd of August for the low, low price of £25. Taking Chloe and Nadine from mainline games and putting them in their own spin off title, The Lost Legacy was originally supposed to be a short side story but has ended up spanning 10 hours.
The video is an entirely new area and shows some of the open world nature of the game which is alright but its very much an “open world game“. What I mean by that is our leading lady climbs a tower, marks a map, finds a camp (doesn’t mark enemies but I know you can) stealthily fights her way through and reaps some special stealth rewards. It is all stuff we’ve seen before but with Naughty Dogs usual level of polish.
This isn’t to say the game doesn’t look fantastic, I am totally biased as I reckon Uncharted 4 is the best game I’ve ever played (I don’t champion the series though, 1 and 3 are pretty average) so I am totally on board for The Lost Legacy.
This release also comes with Uncharted 4’s multiplayer which I’ve recently dived back in to and it is the very definition of okay. It has all the content for an awesome online game but everyone just uses AK’s and blind fires and thats pretty much it for strategy. It also has a co op mode (like Gears of War Horde mode) but I’ve never played it.
Anyway, check out the new trailer below.
