A big week for Switch owners as Splatoon 2 releases this week! I am super excited for all those players who never had a Wii U  and can now try out the second title to see what they missed. The first was a very fresh take on the third person shooter genre and this sequel looks to pick up where it left of. The ever so hip Squid Sisters are wrapped up in the new story mode plus there is the usual multiplayer shenanigans on offer. Last weekend we had the first Splatfest, go team Cake, and there will be plenty more of them to come.

Now the biggest question is how easy is the new Smart phone app for voice chat.

Below is a quick look at the new single player.

Gigantic is coming to PC and Xbox One this week. It is a free to play hero shooter where you fight alongside huge guardians. A 5 on 5 game which hinges upon clever use of your abilities.

As there is always a bundle option you can currently pay £23.99 for 18 launch heroes and 2 upcoming heroes plus the usual skins and icons.

Here is a video from last December showing off gameplay basics.

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
