If the revamped Doom was your kind of thing then while you wait for Quake Champions maybe give Strafe a go. Very much a student of nippy old school shooter design found in games such as Doom, Wolfenstein and Quake. The action seemingly has the right sense of urgency and channels a basic polygonal style that screams Quake 2. Hopefully fans of 90s shooters will enjoy this gore filled fps.

Strafe releases on Tuesday, but in the mean time check out this rather odd trailer.

Now let’s talk about the surefire success that is Minecraft on the Switch. A partnership of family friendly Nintendo and the game that seemingly every kid loves surely spells big bucks. Below is the Minecraft segment from the latest Direct, though honestly at this point you must know whether you want Minecraft on Switch.

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
