A cryptic tweet from the official South Park Twitter account could hint that a Fractured But Whole Nintendo Switch version is in development.
Last month Ubisoft delayed South Park: The Fractured But Whole to sometime before March 2018. Still no update on that, but the official South Park Twitter account has today posted a cryptic Nintendo-themed message from a 2006 episode of the cartoon…could The Fractured But Whole be headed for the Switch?

This wouldn’t be the first time that South Park has appeared on a Nintendo console – the first South Park game was originally released for the N64 in 1998, before being ported to PC and Playstation in 1999. However more recent games, including The Stick Of Truth, have skipped Nintendo consoles – therefore it would be a promising coup for the Switch in terms of third-party support and also make something of a statement about the audience for the console.
The Fractured But Whole is already due to be released for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, but has suffered repeatedly delays from its original release window towards the end of 2016.
There’s still no word from Ubisoft on when gamers can expect South Park: The Fractured But Whole to be released, but at least the delay would be more palatable if it resulted in Switch owners being able to get their hands on the game.
