Despite having a whole host of VR and indie games it’s a triple A title and a re-release that are the big headlines this week.

Without a shadow of a doubt the heavy hitter this week is Titanfall 2. EA has chosen an odd time to release this huge shooter as their other massive FPS franchise, Battlefield, released their latest entry only last week. Surely they are hoping the audiences for both are distinct enough, but personally it seems a tough ask for the second Titanfall to shine when facing competition from within it’s own company.

Now the other big release is straight from 2011. Any guesses? Well it’s Skyrim. Now with a lick of next gen paint and the promise of mod support for consoles, albeit in a limited capacity on PS4. Below is a comparison between the PS3 and PS4 versions from the folks at Playstation Access.

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
