Let’s all be honest it’s Playstation VR‘s time this week. As someone who has only ever tried VR a couple of years ago on an Oculus I can’t speak to Sony’s effort, but enjoyed the new virtual reality experience in that headset so I am very intrigued with PSVR. As many have said if Sony can market the thing right and get it in homes they have the best chance to show that VR is not just a fad.

Naturally here is a trailer. Bear in mind though VR is all about the experience so a trailer in no way does it justice.

A game I’d keep my eye on is Dragon Quest Builders. A charming mash up between Minecraft and the classic RPG series it seems delightful. Our resident Bob the Builder, Oli, wrote up his impressions here if you want some insight.

Gaming as long as I can remember. Started with the OG Gameboy and Super Nintendo. Ever since powering up that grey beast games have become an important part of my life. Tekken, Mario, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta all live in my heart.
